Twin City Hardware Co.
Twin City Hardware is one of the largest commercial door & hardware distribution companies in the country. In 1999 I was hired to create their web presence. In 2002 the site went through a major revision and update, as we converted their 600+ page catalog into an online database of searchable PDF pages.
Later that year I built a scheduling application with PHP and MySQL to help the shipping departments from multiple buildings keep track of the orders going out and the salesmen that created them.
In early 2003, they hired another developer that I could bring up to speed, as they knew I was going to leave for Japan. Before I left the company, together we built an application that our national account clients could log into, view all the hardware their stores had, and provide them with a hassle-free way to order replacement parts.
